As a Business Support Manager, you will be a key support in the region, reporting too and working alongside the Regional Director to support with the efficient operation of the North of England and Scotland Region (covering from Middlesbrough in the South to Inverness in the North).Key Responsibilities Monitor and support all regional branches in achieving operational efficacy Assist the Regional Director in ensuring appropriate branch operational cover at all timesEnsure Branch Managers roll out of training for new initiative i.e. Safety Guardian, toolbox talks, new systems, procedures, policies, etc.Ensure effective and efficient service is provided to all customers interacting with branches and across the regionWork alongside the Regional Sales Team to support the Branch Managers in winning and retaining spending accountsEnsure scheduled stock checks and regular asset checks are completedEnsure damage costs are being managed appropriately across the regionRegional operational management of the tachograph systemSupport Branch Managers in the effective coaching of employees and management of the vehicle monitoring systemEnsure Branch Managers meet all asset KPI targetsIdentify and recruit regional employees with the right potential in line with company policyTo ensure regional individuals are trained and effectively to be able to carry out their rolesTo work throughout the region to ensure as far as reasonably practicable compliance with HSE Legislation and Company policyWhen it is considered necessary or appropriate by management you may be required to carry out any duties considered within your skill and competence to assist the smooth running of the businessWhat We’re Looking For Proven stakeholder management experienceAbility to effectively prioritise workload at a high levelEvidence of continuous revenue and profit growthHighly motivated with strong commercial skills at all levelsProof of ability to lead and manage a complex situationsFull P&L understanding and application required Comfortable using IT equipment and MS Office packages Flexibility is essential as travel is required across the regionValid driving licence  - EssentialPrevious experience within rental, multi-site, small tools, construction or related retail - DesirableMulti-site management experience - DesirableThe ideal candidate will have Hire Industry experience and have knowledge of small tools, although this is desirable, it is not essential.
