Environmental Health Officer (P01419)£39,382 - £50,972 per annum inclusive of outer fringe allowance (career grade)37 hours per week (Hybrid Working) We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Environmental Health Officer to join our team. Managing a diverse caseload, you'll immerse yourself in a supportive, collaborative atmosphere, encountering various industrial, commercial, and domestic settings. You will play a pivotal part in enforcing a broad spectrum of legislation while providing expert advice in line with both council policy and governmental directives.Your responsibilities will span a wide array of environmental protection areas, including but not limited to statutory nuisance and public health investigations, responding to licensing applications under the Licensing Act 2003, leadership in contaminated land management, and oversight of private water supplies. Additionally, you may be asked to contribute to planning application assessments and uphold our obligations in environmental permitting and air quality management.Ideal candidates will exhibit a deep-seated passion for Environmental Health, coupled with a commitment to delivering customer-focused services.
