Role: KS1 Teacher

Location: Bishop Auckland

Teaching Personnel are working with a school in Bishop Auckland who are looking to appoint a full-time Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teacher to start after the Easter break. The school is also happy to accept NQT applications for this role. The Year 1 class has a total of 26 enthusiastic pupils.

The school have set out the following requirements for this role:

* A UK recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or BA with QTS)
* Experience with Primary aged children
* Good behaviour management skills
* Organisational skills
* Must hold a valid child only DBS on the update service

The ideal candidate should have excellent knowledge of the current curriculum and would be beneficial to have an understanding of Phonics. Further to this, you should be confident planning and delivering interventions to pupils as well as taking car to track their progress.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
