Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a Behaviour Support Assistant for one of our client secondary schools in the Northallerton area.

The 11-18 school and sixth form offers a warm, friendly and caring atmosphere with a calm and well-ordered teaching and learning environment.

About this role:

* Learning Support Assistant role working with a range of pupils aged 11-18
* Supporting students on a 1:1 or small group basis who have a variety of SEN needs
* For the right candidate flexible part-time/full-time hours negotiable
* Post starting 6 th June 2022 (until July 2022 - with possible extension in September)
* Earn �70-90 per day

Candidate requirements:

* Passionate about helping pupils on a 1-1 or small group basis
* Knowledge and understanding of behaviour management strategies
* Experience in dealing with challenging behaviour, either in a professional or personal capacity
* TA qualifications desirable but not essential

People from with backgrounds in areas such as 1-1 support, SEN, sports coaching, ex-forces, educational settings, health and social care settings and/or challenging behaviour settings have been successful in these roles previously.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
