One of our client schools in Stockport is looking to appoint a Science Teacher for a September 2022 start. The school is one of the most highly regarded schools locally, and benefits from outstanding facilities.
In order for the school to consider you for this position the following is required:
* QTS
* Ability to deliver all Science subjects to KS4.
* Ability to successfully engage all learners, including those with more specific individual requirements.
The school is looking for a motivated teacher who can work initially for 1 term. The role will focus on the delivery of high quality lessons across both KS3 and KS4. The school expects the applicant to be able to offer excellence when it comes to their teaching application, as well as being able to set homework tasks that are relevant and beneficial to their overall development.
As a member of the Science department, the applicant will be expected to create resources, developing content for students to engage with. Working as part of a team will be crucial in looking to collectively deliver the school's vision for each learner. The school sees the primary focus of this role to be preparing students for examinations - this will be done effectively through covering past papers, targeting specific areas for improvement. Intervention sessions will also need to be conducted, and working with set Learning Support Assistants will aid this.
