About Us:

Opportunities are available for exceptional Registered Nurses with advanced nursing skills to join a friendly, family run Nursing Home in Sutton Coldfield. Flexible full and part time positions are available, and we welcome interest from Nurses who are able to work days and/or nights. You will earn up to �19.20 per hour dependant on experience, with generous enhancements available for additional shifts. We value the important contribution Registered Nurses make to our residents health and wellbeing, and offer excellent training and development opportunities to ensure your clinical practice remains up to date. Wyndley Grange Nursing Home is located in a beautiful lakeside setting on the edge of Sutton Park Nature Reserve, with excellent transport links by bus and train. It is an established, successful venture, with a genuine passion and commitment to providing a high standard of person centred nursing care. We offer a range of caring services for all our residents including nursing, dementia, respite and end of life care. Our 64 bedded Nursing Home is rated Good in all 5 areas by the CQC, and we consistently strive to achieve Outstanding.

The Role:

As a Registered Nurse at Wyndley Grange Nursing Home, you will be supported by our Clinical Nurse Managers to ensure all residents consistently receive a high standard of evidence based nursing care. You will:

* Ensure all residents are treated with compassion, kindness, dignity and respect at all times.
* Ensure all care is assessed, planned, implemented and evaluated to meet residents individual need, involving the resident and their family in decisions about their care.
* Act as a role model and mentor alongside less experienced staff, providing clinical leadership and support.
* Manage the clinical area safely, effectively and efficiently.
* Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines.
* Maintain high standards of record keeping, and ensure all care is clearly and accurately recorded as detailed within the NMC Code.
* Maintain safe practice in medicines management in accordance with the Royal College of Nursing and Royal Pharmaceutical Society Guidance.
* Maintain professional integrity and accountability, and ensure that our caring culture is always maintained.

Skills and Experience:

* Current NMC Registration
* Evidence of recent Continuing Professional Development
* Up to date knowledge of clinical practice
* Ability to lead a team
* Ability to supervise and teach less experienced Nurses
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
* Reliable and flexible approach to work
