Teaching Personnel are recruiting a Teaching assistant to work at a school in the sale area of south Manchester. The role will start on the 8 th May 2022 and last until the end of the academic year and July initially with a chance that this could become permanent should the initial term in the school be a success. The Teaching assistant does not have to have experience of working at a school in the past but they should have worked with young people aged 11-16 before. Further, they should have a degree in a subject relevant subject which will help with their general subject knowledge.

The Teaching Assistant will work across all the core subjects eg. English, Maths and Science working closely with the main class lead. They will be expected to work one on one with pupils who may be struggling in a subject area and make sure they are keeping up with academic content across the board.

The role

- TA needed in Sale.

- Pay will be minimum �66.30 per day.

- Payments are made a week in arrears.

- Payments are made on a PAYE basis.

- 8 TH May start date.

To commute to the school there is an onsite car park which is accessible to staff only. If driving there are two local M60 junctions to connect to the rest of the city. Public transport does run through to the school with Metrolink and bus services running within a 5-minute walk of the school. If travelling from the Sale, Stretford or Altrincham areas, this could be an opportunity of interest.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
