I am currently looking for an English teacher to help support my workforce partner school based in Poole. The role will be to start as soon as possible and will run until the end of the academic year, with the potential to be a September role also.
The ideal candidate will be highly driven and strive to ensure the pupils in their care are supported and encouraged to learn to the highest level; with the safeguarding and safety of the young people at the heart of what they do. The school are seeking a confident and efficient individual who has vast knowledge and understanding of the KS3 - KS5 English Language and Literature curriculum.
Main Responsibilities:
* Ability to control and encourage a class
* Excellent behaviour management
* Encourage and motivate the learning of the pupils
* Plan and execute lessons to a high standard
* Provide engaging and productive lessons
* Be a supportive role model to pupils
* Highly engaging and enthusiastic about education
Essential Requirements:
* PGCE, QTS, or any previous experience working within a similar capacity, particularly across English, is highly advantageous
* Level 2 safeguarding trained within the last 12 months, or complete the training with us, free of charge
* Able to plan and deliver targeted sessions with enthusiasm and creativity
* Child only DBS on the update service or happy to complete one
