Nottingham City Homes are looking for a Communal Energy Officer to join their enthusiastic Sustainability team.
£28,226 - £30,095 per annum
Based at Harvey Road
37 hours per week
As a communal Energy Officer for Nottingham City Homes you will be responsible for managing the communal energy and PV system accounts, working alongside contractors and partners, reviewing new energy services as well as produce, collate and report accurate data for a range of purposes to be used across the Sustainable energy service to ensure customer satisfaction.

Duties include:

Account management of both Communal Energy services and PV maintenance services
Carrying out energy assessments and surveys to inform strategy development and procurement exercises
Model, monitor and analyse effectiveness of communal energy schemes
Perform benchmarking exercises to understand how NCH is managing energy data and environmental sustainability
Working alongside contractors and council services to ensure our SLA’S and contract agreements are upheld
Keeping up to date with advancements in best practice and new technology relating to environmental sustainability and opportunities to improve the ecological and energy performance of homes in Nottingham.
To review key local and national policies in relation to environmental sustainability and climate change and highlight key actions and issues to support continuous improvement and strategy development.

The ideal candidate will have suitable knowledge of the communal energy systems, PV systems, relevant legislation, regulations, statutory guidance and standards of performance. Some understanding and knowledge of energy and sustainability issues such as fuel poverty, as well as renewable and alternative technologies would be beneficial.
