* Temporary post until the end of the academic year 2022, starting after May Half-term
* Working hours (8.30am - 3:30pm)

This 'Good' Primary school in Bury (BL8) are recruiting for an ASC Support Teaching Assistant on a temporary contract.

The headteacher is determined to ensure all pupils have the best possible education and attain the highest standard. You will be responsible for providing ongoing 1:1 and small groups to support and engage a small number of the children within Year 4. This role requires someone who has experience of working with children with ASC, whether it's on the verbal or non-verbal spectrum.

This is a great opportunity at a school which is aiming to become 'Outstanding'. You would be working closely with the school SENCO to help aid learning in school as much as possible, this is a great place to work, with a friendly environment and a hard-working ethic.

The role:

* Child 1 with ASC - Challenging Behaviours, non-verbal, communication issues.
* Child 2 - Complex ASC needs, non-verbal, repetitive, visual learner.
* Working closely with the SENCO and inclusion lead.
* Supporting learning in class and outside of the classroom

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
