An SEN Primary School in Middleton is looking for a teacher to take on a full-time role. The ideal candidate should be a confident, experienced teacher that is able to plan challenging and engaging lessons for young students with additional needs. You will be responsible for creating a fun learning environment that allows children to learn skills that will help them both currently and in the future. The school prides itself on developing a safe, secure, welcoming and positive environment and presenting these in an atmosphere of support and challenge.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A PGCE
- Ideally experience working in an SEN environment or supporting those with additional needs
- Ability to liaise with staff, students and parents to work together to further development of students
- Patient and caring personality
- Excellent level of communication
Responsibilities
- Planning of exciting and creative lessons and activities for young students aged 5-7
- Communicating with parents and families and using this to guide the learning of students
- Responsible for support staff within the classroom
- Working with pupils with complex and additional needs
The role is permanent and full time.
