Year 3 Teacher

A faith based Primary School in Lytham are in need of a Y3 Teacher following the end of the current Teachers notice period at the end of the acadmeic year. Due to the nature of this role, the school are looking to employ on a temporary contract during a trail period from September through to October Half Term, but will consider offering a permanent position following this period.

* Full Time (Monday - Friday)
* Working Hours: 8:30 - 3:30
* Rate of Pay: �100 - �130 (rates are competitive based on experience!)
* Start date: 6th September
* End Date: October (tbc.)

The School:

Based in Lytham, this school is easily accessible from surrounding areas, such as Blackpool, Kirkham and Preston, and is situated by good public transport links. This is a 'GOOD' school as assessed by Ofsted and behaviour is generally good across the school. The class size of Year 3 is 27 pupils, with a level 3 TA assigned to the class. In addition, the Head Teacher is prided by the school's inclusive ethos, whilst upholding values of teamwork across the school.

Responsibilities of the role:

As the Year 3 class Teacher, key responsibilities will include Teaching the core curriculum and ensuring the right foundation for pupils who are approaching examinations. In addition, full planning, marking and assessment duties will be expected from the Teacher. To help settle into this role and ensure a smooth change over form the previous Teacher, a progression report of each pupil will be carried out, along with access to the schools shared driver. PPA time will also be awarded to help with planning and preparation.

To be successful:

This school are hoping to secure a strong and experienced Teacher; however, they are also keen to hear from Early Career/Newly Qualified Teachers who have experience working within KS1. What will help you stand out from the rest is at least 4 months experience working in KS2, , and have an up-to-date CV that can be sent off to the school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
