Temporary Attendance & Medical/Welfare Assistant
Location: Ealing, West London
Pay: �70 - �80 per day (paid weekly)
Duration: 6 weeks - with the possibility of extending
Are you paediatric first aid trained and are able to give medical assistance to children? Teaching Personnel are currently looking for an Attendance and Medical/Welfare Assistant. Initially for 6 weeks but with the possibility of extending.

About the Role:
- Attendance registers each morning and afternoon, and following up absences with parents
- Administering routine first aid treatment to children
- Responsible for the maintenance of First aid equipment such as epi pens, asthma inhalers and defibrillators
- Administer prescribed medication to children
- Handle of all aspects of emergencies and accidents which occur whilst the children are in the care of the school,
- Responsible for communication with parents/carers regarding pupils who are ill or suffered injury at school, or notify parents accordingly
- Responsible for keeping medical records up to date including Medical Care Plans
- Welfare duties: providing kit to children who have forgotten theirs, providing clean clothes after accidents and keeping stock levels of items such as tissues, hand gel, etc up to date
Essential Criteria:
- Paediatric first aid trained to be able to give medical assistance to children.
- Must have a child workforce only DBS on the update service - or be willing to apply
- Must have the right to work in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
