We are currently seeking an Admissions Manager to join the UNIC team. The Admissions Manager will have significant impact on the future growth of student numbers at UNIC and the successful candidate will play a key role as a leader in Customer Service enabling us to deliver a gold standard customer service for our stakeholders, including establishing and maintaining strong links with The University of Northampton International College International Office. The Admissions Manager will be responsible for managing and leading the admissions team.
Admissions Manager Duties:
* Provide leadership, support and guidance to the admissions team at UNIC
* Deliver a consistent and high standard of customer service, including expedited turn around times for Offer and Cas issuing.
* Issue offers to prospective students, and/or refer and manage borderline cases with the University of Northampton
* Support visa documentation and verification processes
* Identify and champion the effectiveness and effectiveness and efficiency of admissions processes
* Develop excellent University and Source Country Office (SCO) engagement, via connections and working relationships
* Responsible for the day-to-day management of student records, liaising with University and Navitas colleagues to ensure that records are kept up to date, utilising the Navitas CRM System
* As appropriate, engage with regulatory bodies, for example the collation and monitoring of documentation for UKVI inspections, including audit requirements.
* Oversee and manage the preparation of documents required in order to issue a CAS statement, in line with University and UKVI requirements
* Set up regular training and development within the admissions team ensure the team are developing and maintaining accurate and up to date admissions and compliance knowledge
* Provide admissions and process-related info sharing and training to Navitas offshore staff as appropriate
* Shared responsibility to deliver UNIC application, recruitment and enrolment targets
* Resolve complex issues on an as-need basis
* Prepare and present regular reports on admissions and compliance issues and trends, including recommendations, including to university committees.
* Liaise with the UNIC Student Services Team to inform UNIC Marketing & Admissions colleagues of student performance metrics (e.g. progression rates, withdrawals etc)
* Conduct academic and English level entry requirements reviews, liaising between Navitas colleagues and the University of Northampton to ensure our entry criteria are set at levels to facilitate UNIC growth in student numbers.
* Work collaboratively with the wider UNIC team, seeking to support all areas of the business as appropriate
* Seek self-improvement through mentoring and coaching from senior team members
* To assist the Director of Marketing and Admissions with any other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job
