Job IntroductionWhat will I be doing?
The Business Administrator Apprenticeship will give you a firm grounding and practical experience organisation operations, as well as an understanding of the wider working environment.
As part of your training in a real work environment you will gain experience in developing, implementing, maintaining and improving administrative services.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Institute for Apprenticeship, Apprenticeship Business Administrator Level 3, achievable at Pass or Distinction. This includes a knowledge test, portfolio interview and project presentation
Pearson Level 2 Certificate in Functional Skills English, if required
Pearson Level 2 Certificate in Functional Skills Mathematics, if required
End point assessment
Supported by designated Apprenticeship Assessor
Main ResponsibilitiesWhat will the Apprentice be doing?
Meeting and greeting visitors
Answering incoming calls and forwarding them to the relevant person
Taking detailed and accurate messages
Creating documents and presentations
Creating reports for management
Enrolling learners on training
Filing and photocopying
Emails
Sending letters and parcels
Using in house computer systems
Updating training calendar and LMS
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Possibility of permanent employment but this will depend on the individual. This opportunity will provide the right person with excellent knowledge, skills and behaviours for future employment.
