Behaviour Support Assistant - Salisbury

Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant required at a primary school based in Salisbury, to start after the May half-term, initially until the end of the year with the option of being extended with good performance.

As a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant within this school, you will gain a rewarding role whereby you will have the opportunity to positivity impact the learning, development and lives of pupils who struggle to engage within their normal classes.

* Full time Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant
* Temporary post initially starting after May half-term 2022 until the end of the academic year (July 2022) with potential permanent progression opportunity
* Working hours (8.30am - 3:30pm)

This Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant role is at a primary school in Salisbury. The school is easily accessible from the town centre due to its strong public transport links and is easily commutable from other areas.

The school caters for primary aged students 4-11. The headteacher is determined to ensure all pupils have the best possible education and attain the highest standard. The quality of teaching is outstanding as high teacher expectations ensure all pupils work is of the highest quality and is shown by the progress the pupils make.

Day to day responsibilities within this Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant include; supporting the learning and development of pupils who struggle to engage within classes, provide general support to teachers within lessons and deliver resources and small groups of pupils withdrawn from their classes.

Applicant requirements;

* Previous exposure supporting the learning of 'harder to reach' primary aged pupils
* Be confident supporting pupils aged 4-11
* Be able to build positive working relationships with pupils
* Be available on a full-time basis

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
