Our client school has recently been refurbished with a brand new ASC provision. This provision has been incorporated into the school due to the increasing amount of pupils with ASC within the school. The identified pupils based within this unit have been removed from mainstream lessons due to requiring additional support.
Working within this school will involve working closely with pupils who have autism or similar special educational needs. The incoming candidate will be required to help plan activities for pupils at various levels of learning ability within a variety of subjects such as English and Maths. The incoming teaching assistant will also be supporting the class teacher to ensure all pupils have the correct guidance required.
To be considered for this position it is important the incoming candidate has experience or knowledge of Autism. Any other transferrable experience will also be considered for this position.
The school is easily accessible via the M60 and A580 from surrounding areas including central Manchester and Bolton. Our client school can also be accessed via public transport from neighbouring areas of Salford including Trafford, Eccles and Stretford.
