A co-educational secondary school in the Stockport area is looking for a Learning Mentor to start with them from Stockport. The successful Learning Mentor will be working with the new cohort of year 7 students arrived at the beginning of September, supporting them with the transition to high school ensuring they are supported in all aspects of learning and school life.

The Learning Mentor will primarily be supporting the new cohort of year 7 students but have the opportunity to also work with some of the older students that require support within the classroom.

This school is situated in Stockport close to the M60 ring road. Stretford, Chorlton, Whalley Range and Altrincham/Sale are all close by with the central Metrolink also servicing the school well for those that travel via public transport. If you are a Learning Mentor who drives, then the school is very easy to get to being on a main transport route with an on-site secure car park.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
