Graduate Teaching Assistant

A reputable Primary School close by to the centre of Preston are on the look out for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join their KS2 staff team. This is a full-time role working Monday-Friday 8:45-15:15 with 30 minutes for lunch. The role is working across Y3 and Y4 providing general class support.

The SENCO and Headteacher are keen to secure a candidate who is potentially interested in pursuing a career in teaching and somebody who would be interested in involving themselves in whole school CPD (continuous professional development).

This role is to begin ASAP, however the school are able to wait a few weeks for the right person! To be a successful Teaching Assistant, you must be dynamic and enjoy working within a fast paced environment where no two days are the same.


- Qualified to degree level (Core subject graduates are welcome to apply, as well as Social Science graduates and also Childcare or Education related qualifications).

- Experience of working alongside children within the last two years.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
