A Faith Primary School based in Accrington are hoping to secure a strong and experienced KS2 Teacher who will be able to take over their Year 5 class following the maternity leave taken by the class Teacher.

This is a Good school that strive to excel in their standard of Teaching. The Head Teacher has made every effort to develop a warm and welcoming environment where children love to learn, and staff feel included and have the option to develop professionally.

The maternity cover is expected to continue throughout the full academic year (2022/23)

Responsibilities of the Role:

* Ensure high quality of Teaching to ensure pupils are given the best chance to achieve targets during SATs.
* Prepare and plan lessons, accounting for the core aims of the school.
* Liaise with parents over class dojo.
* Safeguard pupils and work co-operatively with the class TA (L3) and the schools Safeguarding lead.
* Marking pupils' books and relaying feedback to KS2 phase leader.

Requirements for the Candidate:

Must have experience teaching within KS2.

Experience with SAT protocol is preferred.

Must have or be willing to apply for a DBS.

Must be able to supply a school-based reference.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
