Teaching Personnel are working with a Primary School in Durham (DH7) who are looking for a talented teacher to work in their well preforming Y5 class. The class has minimal behavioural issues and are working at a high standard across all subjects. You will be working with the Key Stage Lead to ensure lessons are furthering pupil ability. The role is open to all experienced KS2 Teachers and would be starting 9 th May to cover a maternity.
About the role:
* Starting 9 th May 2022 covering a maternity post
* Working Hours: 08:30 - 15:30 Monday to Friday (term time only)
* Weekly pay between �500 - �700 paid every Friday
* Working within a well behaved Y5 class performing at a high level
* Working with the Key Stage lead to track student progress against the curriculum and ensure interventions are in place for targeted students

* Teaching staff have heightened their skill in the teaching of phonics and early reading
* Governors are skilled and committed to self-improvement. They visit regularly and provide leaders with a good deal of support
* Teachers use their good subject knowledge and questioning skills effectively. Pupils, including disadvantaged pupils and the most able, make good progress across Key Stages and subjects
Candidate Requirements:
* Hold a UK recognised teaching qualification
* Experienced working within a Y5 class
* Ability to stretch pupil learning for different abilities
* Track record of maintaining high attainment
* Hold a Child Only DBS accessible on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
