The Role

Working within Bauer’s Video & Entertainment Hub, you will be responsible for securing a wide range of exciting personalities for our radio stations, magazines, podcasts, and digital formats. Providing one point of contact for management, publicists, and PRs to bring their talent and access our many platforms. Alongside talent liaison you’ll collaborate with our brands on end-to-end content plans ensuring we optimize every opportunity. Attracting new audiences in new ways and growing our brands reach, revenue, and reputation.

Main ResponsibilitiesEntertaining and engaging people with exciting content is central to everything we do – with an emphasis on video content being king!  As our Talent Booker and Content Producer, you’ll be integral to our reaching new audiences in new ways strategy, securing a wide range of high-profile celebs and influencers for our brands and collaborating with teams and external contacts to ensure we maximise every opportunity.  The key responsibilities include:


Identify, source, and confirm talent in-line with our flagship radio shows, podcasts and magazine brand needs.
Maintain a shared talent booking calendar, work with our production teams on deadlines and communicate regularly with updates.
Stay up to date with what’s hot within the world of entertainment and pop culture to ensure the booking of timely and impactful guests.
Act as a conduit between publicists, managers, and our production teams to coordinate and confirm bookings. Liaise with and look after talent while they are in our studios ensuring their experience with is smooth, fuss free and lots of fun!
Establish and maintain relationships with agents, publicists, and managers, building extensive database of contacts within the industry
Collaborate with our teams as they continuously develop new radio features, podcasts and digital formats and assist them with any talent booking needs and ideas.
Collaborate with our production teams to come up with unique creative treatments and formats for celebrity and entertainment video content.  And connect with our digital teams to optimize every talent opportunity and seed content most effectively across our social channels and websites - ensuring maximum reach and entertainment!

Person Specification
You are an experienced talent booker and have a proven track record of securing a wide variety of celebrities and influencers. You can give examples of where you have secured exclusive talent access and deals. Your contact list is as robust as your relationships with the people on it!
You have a passion for celebrity, a healthy obsession with pop culture and this is combined with inside knowledge of the workings of the film, TV and music industries and the world of publicity and promotion works. 
You can demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of our brands target audiences and have strong ideas about what will engage and entertain them.
You can spot a trend before it happens, across every zeitgeist moment, you have a keen eye for headlines and have sharp editorial judgement.  You are social media savvy with in-depth understanding of how to use each platform to engage and grow audiences.
You are highly personable with excellent communication skills, verbal and written. And confident – with an ability to deal with a wide range celebrities, publicists, managers, and fellow colleagues at any level without being intimidated.
You are also extremely organized, efficient, and able to work across several different interview bids at any one time with ease. You have excellent diary management and forward planning skills. You can demonstrate creative problem solving and the ability to anticipate problems and find solutions in calm professional manner, showing diplomacy and negotiation skills.
You understand the technical elements of multi-media interviews and have experience in setting up a radio studio and knowledge of what is needed for multi camera shoots.
You have good knowledge of video and audio editing with skills within the Adobe Creative Suite
You are proficient with Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and Power Point - comfortable using these programs and have a lot of experience doing so.  You also have Google Docs proficiency.
