Teaching Personnel are recruiting a science teacher to work in a school in a school in the St Ives area of Cambridgeshire. The role will be full time up until the end of the academic year with the opportunity to be taken on by the school permanently should the initial term in the role be a success. The start date will be in September 2022, as soon as the person is able to start, they will be allowed to by the school. The successful science teacher will have experience teaching Science to KS3 and KS4 with teachers of all experience levels welcomed to apply for the role.
The role
- Science teaching role starting in September 2022.
- Between �3000 and �3900 maximum earning potential, payments will be judged subject to experience level.
- Must have experience teaching both GCSE and KS3 content.
- There is an opportunity to work towards a full-time position in a school and be taken on by a school-based contract.
The Science department consists of 14 experienced teachers who are passionate about their specialist subjects. The school also boasts an excellent, highly qualified technician team who are able to provide practicals and offer advice to support teachers in the classroom. Teachers have the opportunity to teach across the full range of Key Stage 3-5, dependent upon experience.
The school offer both Combined and Separate Science GCSEs (with Edexcel) and Biology, Chemistry and Physics at A Level (with AQA). The department is highly motivated, dedicated and committed to improving the quality of teaching and learning for all students.
The school is located in St Ives and is easily accessible from the surrounding areas of Huntingdon, Peterborough and Central Cambridge.
