The Role

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit additional staff members for employment in a specialist school based in the Leyland area. This specialist provision caters for children with SEMH and ASC who can often display challenging behaviours. This post is to start on a full-time basis, you will be required to work during term-time, with the view of becoming a permanent member of staff. The provision is looking for potentially one classroom teacher as well as Learning Support Assistants. The class teacher can vary in specialist subject knowledge i.e. Maths, Science and/or P.E. These positions are due to start in September however members of SLT have commented that there would be the option for successful applicants to start prior to this.

The Provision

The specialist provision is not far away from the motorway and is located close to available bus routes. The class sizes for this provision varies between generally 6-8 pupils and having effective support within school is crucial to supporting the students appropriately. They provide quality assured and unique KS2-KS5 programmes promote their students' academic and social development allowing each individual to reach their potential and maximise their chances of achieving independence and living fulfilling lives as positive contributors to society.
