SEMH Support Assistants Required

Pay: �75 - �100 per day depending on experience.

The role education can play within the life of a child can often be underestimated. We are enthusiastic about ensuring that we make positive impacts for every student we support.

Social, emotional, and mental health is a huge area within SEN, and we are looking to appoint a motivated and empathetic Teaching Assistant to help support students with SEMH needs.

We are looking for someone who can work on their own initiative whilst being able to follow EHCPs, policies, and directions from other members of staff.

We are dedicated to ensuring that the right person gets the right role for them, as this ensures that the students get the best support they need whilst making sure you feel comfortable in your role.

The school is based in South East London and the role will be Monday-Friday 08.30-16.00.

The role,

The role will involve supporting students to access their education, whilst helping to break down any barriers that they may come across. You will be working with students in either small groups or 1:1 if there is need.

You will need to be someone who students can easily communicate with and be able to build professional relationships.

Due to the nature of the role being adaptable is essential. The needs of students can change rapidly and being able to adapt to those changes without hesitation is vital, to best support our students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
