A modern secondary school based in Ludgershall are looking for a suitably qualified and passionate Humanities Teacher to join them on a part-time basis from September 2022 - December 2022. The position is to teach History and Geography at KS3 in a supportive and thriving humanities department. The successful teacher will be fully supported with the view of this position becoming permanent for the right candidate.
Applicants are welcome from Newly Qualified Teachers to experienced Humanities Teachers. The school was inspected by Ofsted and judged to be "good" in its most recent inspection, including behaviour of students and leadership and management.
The incoming Humanities Teacher will deliver a full timetable in line with the current national curriculum, be comfortable delivering lessons to all pupil abilities and be flexible in your approach to teaching.
Requirements for the role:
* Extensive and up to date subject knowledge
* Dedication to each individual student's progression
* Preparing and planning for lessons with marking required
* Excellent behavioural management
* Will be required to apply for a Child Workforce DBS, if you do not already have one on the update service
