One of Teaching Personnel's client schools based near Macclesfield in South Manchester are currently actively recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to begin working on a full-time temporary basis after the summer. Whilst the role is initially a temporary one, there exists the possibility that it will become permanent upon completion of the contract.

The role would involve helping the class teacher within lessons by working with students with ADHD and Autism. The pupils in question would need to be working with in a separate small group setting, however the school are trying to gradually phase in more combined lessons in which the students work with the rest of the class. The students mainly need help with their literacy and numeracy skills and staying focused and engaged on their work.

* Pay: �66 - �77 per days depending on experience.
* Full-time temporary after summer (with possibility of becoming permanent).

The ideal candidate will have a kind and patient manner and will have strong literacy and numeracy skills. Experience of working with children is essential, whether in a school setting or from a role such as youth work. Experience of helping students with ADHD and/or Autism is also desirable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
