A mainstream primary school located in Blackburn have approached Teaching Personnel in order to source and shortlist a number of candidates to take up a level 3 TA role. The role entails supporting as a general TA, delivering planned interventions & covering a class one afternoon per week. The interventions will entail taking small groups out of class to deliver reading/writing interventions. This is an excellent opportunity to secure yourself a long-term, full-time role within a local school, from September 2022. The Head teacher has specified that they will be looking for someone with a secure knowledge of the KS2 Curriculum and also someone who can confidently step up to cover the class teacher.

The role will run for a full year, covering a member of staff who have handed their notice in. Due to the limited time to advertise and appoint, the school have decided to approach Teaching Personnel to fill the role. This has proved successful in the past. The role will equate to 32.5 hours across the week, which will breakdown to 6.5 hours per day. The pay will range from �11.50 - �13.50 per hour, depending on experience & qualifications.

This may be the perfect opportunity for a teaching assistant looking for experience working in a top performing primary school or an ECT/Teacher looking for a better work/life balance.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
