Teaching Personnel are looking for a qualified and motivated German Teacher to join one of our client secondary schools based in Salisbury this September on a part-time basis until May 2023. You will be expected to plan, prepare, and deliver German lessons to KS3 and KS4 pupils within the school, the ability to teach either French or Spanish to KS3 is highly desirable too but not essential.
You will be joining a supportive department which includes 8 MFL teachers so lots of assistance is offered when needed.
This is a part time vacancy, 3 days a week. (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday)
The incoming German teacher should focus on developing the breadth and depth of pupil's competence in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The German Teacher will be comfortable delivering lessons to all pupil abilities and be flexible in your approach to teaching.
Job start date: September 5 th 2022.
Requirements for this role:
* UK teacher qualification with qualified teacher status
* Relevant languages degree specialising in German
* Behaviour and classroom management skills
* Shares best practice and consistently strives for excellence from their students
* Child only DBS on the update service or happy to complete one
As this is a full time teaching role, it is essential that the applicant is able to:
* Understand the common difficulties associated with learning a language, and be able to think of solutions quickly and efficiently
* Efficiently deliver school curriculum and be able to offer alternative provision whenever necessary
* Work with students on both an individual and group basis
* Implement unique strategies specifically designed to ensure that students are able to engage with the learning process
* Encourage pupils to achieve to the best of their ability
* Prepare and plan for lessons with marking required
* Ensure your students achieve the best they can!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
