Teaching Personnel are seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to work in the South Ockendon area. The right individual will have a thorough approach to children with additional needs, specifically autism and will consistently inspire and help develop children. The role requires an individual who possesses a strong background within SEN and working 1:1 with children . The school I am working with has a special autism unit, were support staff help with 1:1 sessions, small group work, interventions and behavioural management.
The role is a full-time position within a primary school, working closely with a pupil who has autism. You will require you to help assist the teacher with classroom activities as well as working on a one-to-one basis with your pupil.

The right individual will:
- Have a passionate and enthusiastic approach to education
- Have experience working with children with autism
- Have classroom experience
- Have a UK residency
- Have access to public transport or their own form of transport
- Have a DBS on the update service or willing to apply for one
