Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant needed for 11 - 16 client secondary school, our client is looking for someone passionate about the subject of Mathematics and wants to show young people how important it is in day-to-day life. The role is set to start in September 2022 and will last up until the end of the entire academic year. The pay for this role is �350 - �450 per week, subject to relevant experience.
Your role is to support the students and their learning needs, patience is a vital characteristic in a teacher, everyone has different speeds and ways of learning it's your job to facilitate those as best you can. Similarly, a great educator has the ability to differentiate their teaching to enable pupils with different learning styles to come away from sessions with as much as possible. As a Teaching Assistant your role will not always be in the classroom, one to one and small group sessions will be something you will do independently, your confidence during these sessions is paramount for the students' learning.
Our client is an Ofsted good school, their latest report highlighted the pupils' behaviour and conduct inside and outside the classroom, the school's leaders were also commented on positively, according to the report they have very high standards in regard to their SEN department and them leaving school with their targets met and fully prepared for the next steps of their education.
Supporting SEN students will be a key aspect of your new role. These additional learning needs could range from many things such as Dyslexia, OCD, Colour Blindness or Autism to name a few examples. You will receive all relevant training
