We are recruiting for a specialist SEN Primary school to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their school

The students attend the school due to a diagnosis of ASC, PMLD and other complex learning difficulties.

Yo ur role as a SEN Teaching Assistant would be to support pupils with their tasks. This role would involve providing nurture care to support these young people with their play, communication and social skills in and out of the classroom.

You would be supported by not only the teacher but other support staff such as SEN Teaching Assistants, occupational therapists and other pastoral care worker.

The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant would have:

* Experience of SEN in a professional or personal setting
* A proactive and engaging personality
* Patience and Positivity

The school is based in South Stockport and is easy to get to via car, bus, and train.

The application process requires two recent and care/education-based references or evidence of other experience.

You additionally will either have a DBS on the Update Service or a willingness to get one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
