We are currently looking for a Finance Project Manager​ to join our team based in Solihull.

Main ResponsibilitiesReporting directly to the Senior Manager for Finance Transformation, the role will primarily be responsible for project management activities from opportunities through feasibility studies and business case to a set of business requirements from which a solution can be designed, built, tested, deployed, successfully supported and the benefits reaped whilst keeping the specific stakeholders engaged and ensuring SOx compliance.

As the Finance Project Manager, you will develop and manage the relationship between all teams including engagement & collaboration with relevant functions at both senior and exec levels, removing blockers to deliver initiatives that are agreed by the Governance Board.

You will be also responsible for ensuring the effective adoption of written project processes, using appropriate Project Management methodology, tools and processes and leading or supporting with identifying risks and issues and offering solutions through to implementation where applicable. 

This role will provide ongoing control and assurance on the effectiveness of business delivery, within the Finance Transformation Portfolio as well as project managing any other project initiatives agreed by the Finance Leadership Team that will deliver various benefits to Tarmac or are mandatory due to regulation or CRH. The role is involved in completing process improvement initiatives on behalf of Finance using Lean methodology and providing updates to the process improvement programme.
The Ideal CandidateTo be considered for the role of Finance Project Manager, you will be able to demonstrate experience supported by a professional qualification in the following areas; 

Prince2 Practitioner or another equivalent project management certification is desirable. 
Accountancy or legal qualification desirable (AAT, ACCA, CIMA, ACA, ICSA). 
Educated to a degree level or equivalent work experience Robust knowledge of appropriate project management methods / skills. 
Business Analysis.
Process Improvement. 
Experience in Accounting/ finance processes (SAP strongly desirable) in a Business Relationship Management or Project Management role is preferred. 
Robust knowledge of appropriate project management methods / skills. 
IT Testing methodologies - Desirable
Change Management - Desirable
