Cover Supervisor - Durham area

Are you confident in managing a classroom and have previous suitable experience working within schools and with secondary students?

Teaching Personnel are looking for a Cover Supervisor to work in a fantastic Secondary School in Durham as soon as possible

Cover supervisors are suitably-trained school staff who supervise pupils carrying out pre-prepared exercises when teaching staff that are on short-term absence. The cover supervisor's main job is to manage a classroom, ensuring that students are safe and remain on task with the work they have been set.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

- Location - Durham

- Position - Cover Supervisor

- Start date - February 2023

- Duration - AdHoc

- Minimum rate of pay - �70 - �85 per day

- Hours - 8:00am - 3:30pm (or similar)

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

- Previous experience working in a UK secondary school or working with young people.

- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH TEACHING PERSONNEL, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional references

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
