ATA Recruitment are working with a leading global company that designs, engineers, installs Special purpose machinery, part of a Japanese group of companies they help form one of the largest materials handling companies in the World.
Based in Milton Keynes they provide bespoke designs and product support to likes of BMW, Jaguar land rover, Nissan, and Bentley, as well as major airports in the UK and globally.
Due to increasing client orders and business growth plans they are offering a role of a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their dynamic team in Milton Keynes.
As part of our client's growth plans, this role offers a realistic opportunity for the right candidate to progress and move into a senior role.
The Role
As Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be involved in the design process from cradle to grave, working as an individual and as part of team you will be able to implement develop and implement your skills throughout the life cycle of a project.
The Mechanical Design Engineer's key responsibilities will be:
* To help with client product quoting
* To visit client sites for measurements
* To produce CAD designs for special purpose machinery
* To provide help during installation and handover
* To produce layout and schematic drawings
The Candidate
The ideal Mechanical Design Engineer would have:
* CAD experience in 2D and 3D
* Mechanical engineering qualification
* A ''can do'' and ''hands on'' attitude
* A team player mentality
