School hours: 8:30am - 3:10pm

Teaching Personnel work in partnership with a coeducational day and boarding, senior school and sixth form located in South Downs countryside of West Sussex, seeking several educators from January 2023. The school was graded 'GOOD' with 'OUTSTANDING' features during their most recent Ofsted visit, with inspectors commenting that 'Students make exceptional progress. They develop social and independent skills as well as academic success'.

The school are working with Teaching Personnel to secure substitute teachers, who are keen to work with the school on a flexible adhoc basis. The main purpose of this role is to supervise groups of students during the short-term absence of the regular class teacher, to ensure that students carry out a pre-prepared lesson, maintain good order and to keep students on task, responding to questions and generally assisting students to undertake set activities. It would be beneficial to have strong behaviour management skills for this role.

Whether you are seeking one day of work a week or five, we can offer you flexibility based around your availability with work at this school, as well as other local schools between Emsworth, Chichester, Bognor Regis and surrounding areas. We also offer a guaranteed pay scheme where we will guarantee you pay for certain number of days a week even if you do not work.

The ideal candidate will be confident in managing behaviour, have a sense of humour and the ability to develop strong relationships with pupils.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
