We are currently seeking a full-time Learning Support Assistant to work at one of our partner schools in Bournemouth. The school is an Ofsted "Outstanding" provision for children with social, emotional and mental health barriers to learning.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will provide support within the classroom and encourage pupils to engage in their learning. This may be in a 1:1, 1:2 or group setting alongside other support staff. The school curriculum includes plenty of activities, ensuring no two days are the same.
The school is easily accessible by car and public transport and has excellent ties with the local community. They are keen to support you with your career development, meaning classroom experience is not required. We are particularly keen to hear from anyone with experience in any of the following areas -
* Support, care and/or social work
* Childcare and EYFS
* Study of a relevant degree (Health and Social Care, Education, Psychology etc)
* Personal experience with SEN/SEMH
* Youth volunteering/coaching
* Sporty background
