Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a variety of Cover Supervisors to register for work as schools get busier with day-to-day cover requests.
The role of Cover Supervisor would be best suited to graduates, PGCE applicants or TA's looking to take the next step, who want to gain flexible supply work in the classroom to build their teaching skills and experience. You'd be expected to deliver pre-set work in the absence of the classroom teacher. The role commands a certain level of flexibility as you may be delivering and supervising classes varying in size, ability, and age.
Location: Secondary Schools in North Essex, including; Colchester and Clacton
A successful Cover Supervisor will be:
* A recent University Graduate with a Secondary subject degree
* A current Cover Supervisor who has front of the class experience
* A Teaching Assistant looking to take the next step up
The role of a Cover Supervisor can involve:
* Delivering pre-planned material to a full class of around 30 students
* Focusing on keeping the students engaged
* Flexibility and requires a passion for education and learning
* Having to use excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
