Teaching Personnel are currently working closely with a lovely school in Eastbourne. This friendly SE MH School is focused strongly on providing support and care for their pupils. The school aims to meet the needs of secondary aged (11-16) boys and girls who have difficulty managing social interactions, positive relationships and recognizing and regulating their emotions.
Working in a SEMH school can be challenging. We need the right person with the right attitude.
We are looking for a calm, caring and highly motivated teacher who is very understanding with challenging behaviour. Experience in a SEMH School environment is desirable but work experience that can be adapted is accepted.
This Role includes,
- Teaching SEMH pupils a range of subjects (general teaching)
- Working closely with pupils that display challenging behaviour and emotional difficulties
- W orking in schools where challenging behaviour has been present
- Full time is preferred but part time applicants may still apply, as job shares can be available
- Hours 8:30am-3:30pm
