If you answered yes, we might just have the role for you! Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for SEN Teaching Assistants to work in our partner schools in the Bolton and Bury areas of Manchester. Our schools are specialist provisions which cater for children with additional needs such as Autism, ADHD, Profound and multiple learning difficulties and social, emotional and mental health difficulties.

The role of our Teaching Assistants is to support the class teacher in the deliverance of lessons, support pupils who may need one to one support in order to help them progress, working with students in small groups to help them with their classwork and behaviour. Due to the nature of some of the children's needs, some elements of personal care may be required.

Requirements:

- Have a good amount of experience working with students with ASC

- Be able to confidently handle challenging behaviours

- Have a nurturing and patient personality

- Work well as part of a team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
