School Hours : 8.30am - 4.00pm
Teaching Personnel are looking for experienced specialist SEN Teaching Assistants, to support children with complex needs. You must have a solid understanding of SEN, mainly Autism and SEMH, as you will be working 1:1 and occasionally taking small groups. This is a great opportunity for you to develop your knowledge and skills in a particular area of SEN. There will be ongoing support for your professional development, and you will join a supportive team in a school in the Haringey area.
SEN Teaching Assistant Specification:
* A solid SEN background - Autism and SEMH experience
* Seeking someone who is creative, proactive , resilient and can get the best out of the pupils
* Previous experience working with Primary and Secondary children will be essential
* The successful candidate will have experience of supporting pupils with complex special educational needs on both a 1:1 basis, as well as supporting in small groups
* You will be willing to work as part of a team and be flexible, to support the needs of the pupils.
* The successful candidate will be able to put the needs of the children at the forefront of what they do, taking into consideration any pupils in the classroom with special educational needs
* Able to travel daily to Haringey

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
