Job Title: Production Operator
Location: Ruthin, Denbighshire, LL15 2TN
Salary: £22,000 per annum upon joining, increasing to £26,500 per annum after successful completion of a 6-month probationary period
Hours: Full-time
- 4 days 06:00 -18:00, 4 days off
- 4 nights 18:00-06:00, 4 days off.

Newbridge Energy The company manufacture and supply 6mm ENplus � A1 wood pellets and is listed on the biomass suppliers list (BSL). We have invested heavily in the plant and infrastructure and are seeking to recruit a Production Operator to provide a first-class service.
Job description:
To operate an automated bag filling line, production press/line, and FLT to move nationally recognised products around site, ensuring that customers are supplied within agreed delivery times and production is working safely as the lowest cost producer, with the highest quality output and that objectives and KPI's are met.
- Running an automated bag filling machine with automated conveying and robotic bag stacking
- Setting a production press and line to operate efficiently
- Problem solving / fault diagnosis of line issues
- Packing a nationally recognised product for sale to the public and trade sectors
- Operating a fork-lift truck
- Complete FLT vehicle safety checks at the beginning and end of each shift, and sanitize the cab regularly throughout the shift and particularly at the shift end
- Conduct product quality control measures
- Accurate completion of documentation
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment with excellent housekeeping
- Wearing the appropriate and correct PPE for the task
- Always maintain a high level of safety awareness
- Adherence to the Company's health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures
- Complete any other reasonable tasks or requests as required.
We are looking for someone with the below characteristics:
- A full driving licence and valid forklift licence is essential
- A good level of education - i.e., 5 GCSE's grades 9-5 (A*-C) (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential
- An IOSH Working Safety qualification (or equivalent) is desirable
- Good numeracy and paperwork skills
- Excellent housekeeping and quality standards
- Able to prioritise and work under pressure
- Able to work independently, using own initiative and as part of a team
- Personal attributes include a positive disposition, a can-do attitude, resilience, and a determination to succeed
