We are looking to recruit an EAL Teaching Assistant to start immediately until the end of the academic year. This role will initially be a temporary position although if successful there is real potential for a permanent contract after the introduction by Teaching Personnel.
In this school 38% of students whose first language is not English. You must look to support students who struggle to focus and learn in the mainstream school population. Ideal candidates should be confident and patient to handle a role that although can be challenging at times but is most definitely rewarding.
Students you who have recently come from other countries who need support or students who are residents in the UK but English is not the first language spoken in the home struggle with learning in the mainstream school population, your support plays a crucial role in ensuring learning is adapted to ensure academic potential is met and they feel more confident in themselves.
You will be assisted by the school staff during your time, ensuring that relevant training and support is at hand whenever needed. Pay ranges from �350-�400 a week depending on your prior experience.
