A specialist school based in Corby are looking to hire a specialist teaching assistant to provide additional support for their pupils. The school caters for pupils aged 4-19 with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) and aim to provide them with essential life skills whilst promoting their educational development.
Key Information
* Full-time role Monday to Friday 8:30am - 3:30pm
* Start date: ASAP
* Behavioural support in a small group, 1:1 and whole classroom setting

Requirements
* Have a school / care / support / youth worker background
* No school-based qualifications are required but they are desirable
* Have a background or qualification in psychology, mental health and / or challenging behaviours
* Have personal or professional experience supporting children/ adults with additional needs or challenging behaviours
* Be available on a full-time basis in January

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
