Are you a patient, resilient and caring individual who wants to work with some of the most vulnerable teenagers in your community? Have you always wanted to work in a school do not have the right qualifications or training and have no idea where to start? Are you available full-time and would love a job that is Monday to Friday within school hours?
A specialist school is looking for School Mental Health Assistant to support it's student with their well-being, personal development and academic potential. This school was set up to support teenagers for whom mainstream education is a challenge and require alternative learning provisions. Most students have a diagnosed SEN condition and will have an EHCP. Because of this, students will be challenging as they can't yet regulate their emotions like others. This takes a special someone who can see beyond the bad language, the anti-social behaviour and disengagement. Is this you?
