Reporting directly to the Health & Safety Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring that the workplace is a safe and healthy environment for employees.
Responsibilities will be varied and challenging, ranging from:
* Maintaining and monitoring key performance indicators to championing health and safety initiatives across all areas.
* Responsible for auditing, analysing, and reporting potential issues.
* Work closely with the Health & Safety Manager to ensure that our H&S management system is fully compliant with legislation and best practice.
* Monitoring accidents and incidents across the business
* Assist in the creation and implementation of new modified site procedures and processes
Previous experience working in a health and safety environment will be advantageous, possessing a NEBOSH or IOSH General certificate or other H&S industry recognised qualification (or be working/willing to work towards it). Training will be provided.
