As a cleaner at Sodexo at Edinburgh Academy Junior School, you are responsible for the general day-to-day look of the site. You will deliver a high-quality cleaning service to create a safe and healthy environment for everyone. Your passion for the workplace has a positive impact on those around you. What you’ll do: 

Complete a list of scheduled cleaning tasks. 

Ensure all areas of the office, including kitchens, toilets, and communal areas, are cleaned to a high standard. 

Replenishing stock and consumables such as toilet tissue and hand gels 

Ensure health and safety practices are adhered to.

What you bring: 

Previous experience in a similar role

Excellent work ethic

Can work at a fast pace and adapt to change when needed.

Package Description

Monday to Friday
4.00pm till 8.00pm
20 hours per week
*Term Time Only 37 week contract 
Overtime available on occasion due to the needs of the business

*Equated pay (sometimes known as spread-over pay) is a method of paying you for your contracted hours, working weeks and holiday pay spread over 12 months instead of just receiving pay during the months that you work and none during the school closures/non-working weeks. This means that you get paid equal amounts of pay every month. Further information will be supplied at interview stage.
