Promoting and developing independent living skills which will enable young people to move into their own tenancies successfully.As a support worker joining the team, you will work directly with the young people using a person-centred approach allowing people to be involved and invested in their own support. You will work alongside other agencies to ensure that the young people in our service receive the appropriate support tailored to their needs. You will have responsibility for ensuring that all support plans are completed and are up to date, rent accounts are managed and weekly key work sessions are held. In addition, you will also be completing and monitoring the health and safety of rooms and the building.You will have a people focus, with strong communication and listening skills as you build and maintain relationships with the young people, your team and partner agencies.
