Astute’s Renewables team is partnering with a leading recycling and waste services management company. They are looking to recruit a supervisor to support he day to day running of 3 Windrow Composting sites around the Exeter area.
The Composting Supervisor role comes with a starting salary of up to �34,000 + other benefits.

Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:
* Supervise and support the composting operations across the 3 sites.
* Telehandler operation to move wave and materials around the site.
* Perform daily and weekly checks on the facility and completing associated paperwork.
* Carry out routine and minor repairs, plan and organise maintenance across sites.
* Ensure health & safety compliance, and PPE guidelines are followed.
* Liaise with regulatory inspectors when required.
* Other duties as required.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
* Experience in compositing/ recycling, or similar environment, working with plant operations and routine maintenance activities.
* Proven experience supervising and leading a team, highly desirable if this has been across multiple locations.
* Knowledge of PAS100.

* Salary between �30,000 up to �34,000 (DOE).
