Working alongside the Head Chef, you will help manage daily kitchen operations, oversee staff, ensure high-quality food production, and maintain kitchen efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the kitchen team in the Head Chef’s absenceGuide and support junior kitchen staff with cooking, food prep, and platingOversee kitchen stock, ensuring efficient ordering and inventory managementMaintain a first-in, first-out food rotation system for quality controlKeep cooking stations stocked, especially during peak hoursAssist in training new kitchen employees to maintain high standardsMinimise waste and manage food costs while maintaining qualitySupervise food preparation and presentation for both café and hospitality servicesSupport the Head Chef with menu development and kitchen organisationEnsure food storage meets hygiene and safety regulationsWork closely with the management team on supply ordering, budgeting, and staffingThis is a great opportunity to grow your career in a supportive and professional kitchen environment.
